Pilates



Do you regularly practice Pilates or are you interested in trying a class?  Joseph Pilate created the exercises in the 1920's to help endurance, flexibility and muscle strength. The practice is very popular these days.  Here are some of our favorites.

EA Favorites

Downtown/Tremont

Pilates, Yoga, Thai Yoga, Massage and Acupuncture.

Located in The Metropolitan at the 9 Hotel.  Offers Reformer classes.

South Akron/Canton

Suzanne and Brian Murphy have owned and operated this studio for over 20 years.  Reformer and mat classes.

Reformer classes. First 30-minute introductory class is free.

Eastside

Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood, offers Reformer classes and drop-ins if there if room in a class.

Near downtown Chagrin Falls. Reformer classes; private, semi-private and group lessons.

At Fairmount Circle, University Hts. Pilates, the GYROTONTIC® method, energy work and machine-free GYROKINESIS®.

A full range of Reformer classes.  A free 30-minute introductory class is available.

Pilates, fitness and massage.  The instructors integrate Pilates with TRX®, kettlebell, T-Bow and resistant bands.

Revision Flow, a resistance training class focused on core strength, flexibility, balance and recalibrating the nervous system.

Westside

Offers both Reformer and mat classes; private, semi-private and group.

Several locations (see below).  Reformer-based group classes, complemented by Trigger-Point, TRX®, Springboard, Chair and other equipment designed strength, mobility and stability.  You can book a free 30-minute introductory class.

An alignment focused studio utilizing the patented Megaformer and VersaClimber machines.  It also offers Lagree Fitness which is a high intensity, no impact, full body spring resistant workout.
