The active boating and sailing scene on Lake Erie
Living on a Great Lake provides a wide variety of recreational activities year round. In the summer, boaters head out to enjoy waterskiing, sail boat races, fishing, sunshine, happy hour, amazing scenery and more. Because it is the shallowest, Lake Erie is the warmest of the five Great Lakes. And it's within 30-40 minutes of Cleveland and Akron. There is no need to rush out and get a boat when you move here. There are plenty of ways you can enjoy the water even if you don't have your own boat.
